OpenSanctions consolidates sanctions lists, politically exposed persons, debarment registers and criminal watchlists into one de-duplicated entity graph. `match` screens a person or company against it, `search` is free text for a search box, `entity` returns one record in full with its relationships, and `statements` breaks a record back into the individual assertions each source dataset makes about it.
`search` and `match` name a dataset scope in the path: `default` is everything, `sanctions` every sanctions list, `peps` every politically exposed persons source, and a name such as `us_ofac_sdn` narrows to one list. `catalog` lists them.
Every response carries an EIP-191 signature from the Airnode that served it, so the data can be attributed back to its source rather than trusted on reputation.
Interface
Served at https://airnode-opensanctions.fly.dev/. The two requests below are everything the endpoint speaks, and each can be sent from this page. What comes back is verified right here in the browser.
