Spoonacular is a food database: some 5,000 recipes with their ingredients broken down and costed, 100,000 grocery products addressable by barcode, restaurant menu items by chain, and a nutrition profile behind all of it. This Airnode wraps the read operations worth attesting, so a consumer receives what is in a dish, what a barcode resolves to and how much of each nutrient it carries with a signature saying this Airnode obtained it from Spoonacular at this time. That is the part an agent cannot supply on its own: a calorie figure or a gluten free verdict is a claim about the physical world, and an agent asserting one has only its own word behind it, while a signed copy names the database it came from and the moment it was read.
Every response carries an EIP-191 signature from the Airnode that served it, so the data can be attributed back to its source rather than trusted on reputation.
Interface
Served at https://airnode-spoonacular.fly.dev/. The two requests below are everything the endpoint speaks, and each can be sent from this page. What comes back is verified right here in the browser.
